What is Term Life Insurance?

A Term Life Insurance policy is the type of insurance policy that will provide you with coverage for a set period of time. The term life policy will terminate if a claim is not made within the specified time period. However, it is important to note that the person who purchased the term life policy can pay annual premiums to keep renewing it, therefore keeping it for the length of time allowed by the insurance company. Because term life insurance is considered to be pure life insurance protection, you should know that it provides protection but doesn't build cash value.
