What is Marine Insurance?
Posted: 10/22/2009
Marina insurance, also known as boat insurance, is designed to cover any damages to or loss of cargo, terminals, or ships, including any property that has been transported by cargo to be acquired, held, or transferred between two points of origin or the final destination. Marine insurance can also include exposed property on and off shore as well, such as ports, oil platforms, pipelines, or storage container terminals. Another sub-branch of marine insurance is known as cargo insurance.
